Before You Arrive
Before you arrive, Human Resources will be in touch with you to fill out your new hire paperwork. Your manager will make sure your workstation and email are set up prior to your arrival.

Parking Pass
A parking pass is required to park at all of our Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê¹ÙÍø facilities. The passes may be purchased for a semester or for the year.
Parking permits may be purchased at any campus and may be used at all Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê¹ÙÍø campuses. The pricing information is as follows (fees are subject to change without notice):
- Fall Permits - $30.00
- Fall and Spring Permits - $60.00
- Summer Permits - $10.00
- Full Year ( Fall, Spring, Summer) - $70.00
- Plastic Hanger - $0.50
A parking pass can be purchased at any of the following locations:
- - Staff and student permits can be purchased at the Admissions and Records Office or at the Clovis Community College Bookstore.
- - Staff and student permits can be purchased at the Business Office.
- Madera Community College and - Staff and student permits can be purchased at the Madera Community College Admissions and Records Office.
- - Staff and student permits can be purchased at the Business Services office located in the Student Services building.
- District Office - Staff permits can be purchased at any District campus location.
Daily Permits
Daily permits can be purchased at dispensers found throughout the parking lots for $1 and may be used to park in any stall with the exception of staff or parking meters; metered parking is also available.

The Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê¹ÙÍø Police Department is responsible for the enforcement of the Policy Governing Operations of a Motor Vehicle on College Campus.

Your First Few Days

Permanent classified, full-time faculty and managers are paid on the last working day of each month, (this includes part-time permanent classified and temporary full-time). Temporary employees are paid on the 10th of each month including full-time classified, part-time faculty and student workers.

Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê¹ÙÍø strives to provide a comprehensive and valuable benefits package to our employees and eligible dependents.
The District currently offers four (4) medical plan options - Modern Care PPO plan, Bronze PPO plan, Kaiser Permanente High Traditional HMO plan and Kaiser Permanente Low Deductible DHMO plan. The District also offers a dental plan, vision plan, life insurance and AD&D insurance, an employee assistance program, and voluntary long-term disability insurance. You have 31 days from your date of hire to enrollment in your benefits via or To avoid the possibility of retroactive dues please complete your benefits enrollment as soon as possible. Please note if you fail to elect a medical plan you will be automatically enrolled in lowest coast premium plan at the time and you will be unable to make changes until the following Open Enrollment period.

The Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê¹ÙÍø Police Department is a service-oriented police agency. The Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê¹ÙÍø Police Department is staffed by 15 fully sworn Peace Officers pursuant to Penal Code section 832.32(A). Our Officers are trained and regulated by standards established by the California Peace Officer Standards and Training (P.O.S.T.) Commission. The officers have the same authority as a Municipal Police Officer or County Deputy Sheriffs.
District Police Officers are responsible for patrolling various campus grounds, taking crime and incident reports, conducting investigations, enforcing all applicable laws, traffic regulations and providing a safe environment for our students, faculty, staff and guests.

Your First Few Months
In addition to any New Employee Orientation that may be given by your campus, the District holds a mandatory New Employee Orientation in the Spring and Fall. You will receive information from Human Resources shortly after your hire date, including the date of the next orientation.
Safety training comes in many forms and may consist of web-based training, formal and informal safety meeting and discussions, as well as safety bulletins, videos, pamphlets, and postings. All new employees will complete a certain number of web-based training modules upon their appointment through the District's eLearning portal. Depending on an employee's job classification and work duties, employees will be assigned training courses, including:
