Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê¹ÙÍø faculty members are invited to Faculty Convocation, taking place on August 2, 2023. This event promises to be an enriching experience where colleagues can connect, share ideas and learn from one another.

We have curated a broad-ranging group of community leaders and colleagues to share insights and information we hope you will find valuable as we work together to build a more inclusive and vibrant community college environment for our students.

A conversation facilitated by Dr. Carole Goldsmith with newly appointed Secretary of the California Labor & Workforce Development Agency, Stewart Knox. Secretary Knox brings over 28 years of experience in higher education, workforce, and economic development to this role. As Secretary, he oversees seven major departments, boards, and panels that serve California workers and employers with a vision of a California economy that works for all.

Creating a Culturally Affirming Experience in the Classroom
The Community College Equity Assessment Lab is a national research and practice lab that partners with community colleges to support their capacity in advancing outcomes for students who have been historically underserved in education, particularly students of color.

AgTEC Workforce - Farmworker Surveys
Brief overview of the AgTEC Workforce initiative created under the U.S. EDA Build Back Better Regional Challenge grant. Includes a presentation by Binational in partnership with Unidad Popular Benito Juárez, Las Panchas and Pequenos Empresarios, who have conducted 8,000 farmworker surveys.
